Season 5 of Shark Tank India witnessed one of its most inspiring pitches when 13-year-old Jaiwardhan Tyagi presented his AI startup, Neurapexai. The young innovator left the Sharks — Kunal Bahl, Namita Thapar, Vineeta Singh, Ritesh Agarwal, and Aman Gupta — thoroughly impressed. Snapdeal founder Kunal Bahl even called it “the most inspiring pitch of the season.”

🤖 What is Neurapexai?

Neurapexai is an AI-powered medtech platform designed to analyze MRI scans, lab reports, medical images, and patient history to generate actionable diagnostic reports. Currently free for users, Jaiwardhan sought ₹60 lakh for 5% equity, valuing his company at ₹12 crore.

🎓 Teen Founder’s Journey

Jaiwardhan shared how his interests evolved from chess to coding and web development. At just 10, he attempted to build a social media platform and even tried making a rocket. Inspired by Napoleon and Steve Jobs, he eventually created Neurapexai after a friend encouraged him to work on a résumé-worthy project.

He credited his father, a mathematics professor, for shaping his logical mindset. Jaiwardhan revealed he quit JEE coaching to focus on building his AI startup, saying: “This is not a school project. I value education, but this opportunity doesn’t care if I am 13 or 21.”

While the Sharks admired his vision, they questioned whether Neurapexai could compete with platforms like ChatGPT. Jaiwardhan countered that his model would soon be monetization-ready, with healthcare providers willing to pay for patient leads generated through diagnoses.
