All Eyes on Melbourne: The 59th Australian Toy, Hobby & Licensing Fair Returns in 2026

The 59th in-person Australian Toy, Hobby & Licensing Fair is set to light up Melbourne from Sunday 1st to Wednesday 4th March 2026, and it’s gearing up to be an unmissable milestone event for everyone in the trade.

As the largest gathering of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere, the Fair delivers an unrivalled platform to do business, spark new connections, strengthen existing relationships and immerse yourself in the very best our industry has to offer, all under one roof.

The moment the doors open on day one, visitors step into over 13,500sqm of innovation and excitement. From toys and educational products to collectables, kidult favourites and everything in between, the Fair stretches as far as the eye can see. Alongside representation from the biggest global brands, the aisles are also packed with unique boutique gems, those standout products that truly set retailers apart.

And the energy doesn’t stop when the show floor closes.

The evenings come alive with signature ATA events, beginning with the Industry Gala Dinner on opening night. Hosted at Crown Palladium, the Gala attracts more than 500 guests, all keen to celebrate the people, products and licences shaping the future of play.

On night two, the ATA honours the industry’s most experienced leaders, bringing together those who have dedicated 25+ years to the trade. This intimate and exclusive celebration recognises the achievements, commitment and passion of the people who continue to build the foundations of our industry.

The final event in the ATA’s program is the Women in Toys & Licensing Breakfast on day four – an inspiring tradition launched in 2023 and now one of the Fair’s most anticipated highlights. This year’s speaker lineup features four exceptional women:

Brea Brand (CEO & Co-Founder, CONNETIX), Danielle Lowe (GM Licensing & Marketing, Caprice), Belinda Gruebner (ex-Moose) and Kerryn McCormack (MD, Merchantwise) -each bringing powerful stories, insights and experience to the stage.

As always, the ATA proudly partners with a charity during the Fair, shining a spotlight on those making a difference in the lives of children. This year we’re supporting an organisation doing extraordinary work in the mental health space, and we can’t wait to share their story with you.

With unmatched networking, major product reveals, exclusive events and a community that thrives on creativity and connection, the 2026 Fair is shaping up to be one of our most exciting yet. See you in Melbourne – where the business of play comes to life
