We couldn’t believe it when One Tree Hill alum Tyler Hilton broke the news on Friday that he is divorcing his wife of 10 years, actress and director Megan Park. However, fans who have been paying close attention to the pair weren’t as shocked! Why? They saw the signs for a while! Here’s the breakdown…
Months before the breakup announcement, eagle-eyed social media users realized that both Tyler and Megan stopped wearing their rings last year. The musician’s left ring finger has been bare in many of his recent Instagram posts, which show him playing guitar or performing alongside former One Tree Hill alum Kate Voegle on their Celebrating the Music of One Tree Hill tour. Megan is not active on social media as much, but her wedding ring was missing at the Film Independent Spirit Awards in February 2025. Ch-ch-check it out (below):

Fans also mentioned the two seemingly stopped interacting with each other on Instagram at one point — no comments, no posts, nothing! The last time he posted about her was celebrating their work on her 2024 film My Old Ass, which she directed and he scored.
Tyler also gushed about his then-wife at the time to Us Weekly, saying:
“I did the score for it. I’ve always wanted to do that. I was gonna go to college for film scoring. This is the first movie I did the full score, and it was so, so fun. She’s so easy to work with and so smart. All I had to do was show up and do what she said. It worked out. She’s unbelievable as a director and writer. It’s crazy. The movie kills me. I’ve seen it a thousand times. I’ve read every version of the script, and it still makes me cry. It’s so good.”
Other than that? Both of their online presences focus on their respective careers right now.
But the biggest sign of trouble in paradise? Days before the split news, fans noticed Megan unfollowed Tyler on Instagram. At this time, she still doesn’t follow him, but he does follow The Secret Life of the American Teenager alum. Take a look (below):
