Tylor Chase's living condition seems to have plummeted astronomically since he made headlines last year.
The former Nickelodeon star has reportedly been sleeping on his mom's porch with a short plywood installed to cover him from public glare. Authorities previously shared that Chase has been declining medical help and housing, and it was pretty much the same case when he went back to the streets after a former colleague tried to help.
Tylor Chase's dad previously opened up about his battle with addiction and mental health issues, but explained that he has refused to get help.
Tylor Chase Seen Smoking Pipe And Sleeping On His Mother's Porch

New photos shared by the New York Post show Tylor Chase looking dishevelled while smoking a pipe on his mom's porch in California amid his ongoing battle with substance abuse.
According to the news outlet, the former actor has been seeking shelter behind a makeshift wooden plank on his mother's porch, although it's not known if he's welcome inside the house or is just being allowed to sleep outside.
His mom, Paula Moisio, described the home as a "safe space" for him as he continues to battle homelessness.
The former child star made headlines last year when he was seen sorting through a dumpster looking for food close to a 7-Eleven.
Neighbors who live close to his mom's house say he has become quite an unfortunate fixture in the neighborhood, but it remains unclear if any sort of complaints have been tendered.
The Actor's Dad Reveals He Has Mental Health Issues

Chase rose to fame after he played the role of Martin Qwerly in Nickelodeon's "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide."
After he recently went viral in a video shared on social media, his sorry state left fans concerned, with many offering to help via a GoFundMe that generated more than $1200.
However, his mom shut it down, saying he would use it to get drugs, and what he needs is medical attention, not money.
His father revealed last year that the family has been dealing with the situation for well over a decade now, explaining that Chase is a "wonderful person" when he's himself, but his drug addiction problems have taken the better of him.
"For over a decade, the family has sought treatment options for Tylor, including support for substance use as well as mental health care," he said, per the Daily Mail. "In addition to addiction, Tylor has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, which require consistent medical treatment."

Chase doesn't appear to be physically close to his dad, who stays far away in Georgia. However, He's understood to be in close contact with his mom, whose house he has now turned into a place of refuge.
His dad also shared that his family had done all they could to get him help, but had not been able to record much success, partly due to his unwillingness to cooperate. In fact, he noted that they signed him up for rehab sometime around 2021, but he always managed to relapse.
"Approximately four years ago, he received treatment in Georgia, and while there was progress for a time, he later chose to discontinue medication and resumed substance use," he said at the time.
He continued, "More recently, Tylor returned to California to be with his mother in hopes of stabilizing his situation; however, despite continued support, he has refused ongoing treatment and assistance."
The Former Child Star Confirmed He Was Taking Multiple Drugs

Chase confirmed his substance abuse issues when he told the Daily Mail that he "likes to vape" and takes "Prozac, Adderall, Sudafed, Wellbutrin, or also Zoloft."
The actor also claimed during his chat with the news outlet that he received the drugs from a psychiatrist despite not having any serious mental health conditions.
"I'm not really active homeless at this time, I'm thinking that I would like to go see my dad, relatively shortly, in the state of Georgia," he said. "I have the whole setup to stay out there, a room out there hopefully [...] Probably a housing assistance program in Georgia most likely."
Tylor Chase Isn't Wanted For Any Crimes

Meanwhile, law enforcement explained that Chase isn't wanted for any crime and they're aware of his situation. However, court records show he has been held for 12 misdemeanor arrests in Riverside County since 2023, mostly for shoplifting from small businesses.
The Public Information Officer for the Riverside Police Department, Ryan Railsback, shared that they always encountered Chase and would interact with him at least once a week.
This is because the department has a special program wherein they regularly engage with homeless individuals, offering them mental health and alcohol treatment.
However, according to reports, Chase has consistently turned down the offer but was always cordial and cooperative.
