💕 German Woman Finds Love in Pakistani Village Through Roblox
A German doctor, Selma, met Pakistani villager Akmal on Roblox, fell in love, and married him after travelling to Punjab. Their wedding cost ₹14 lakh, and Selma now plans to settle permanently in Pakistan while learning local languages.
A 26‑year‑old German doctor, Selma, who also holds Bosnian citizenship, travelled thousands of kilometres to Punjab’s Mandi Bahauddin district to marry Muhammad Akmal, a 22‑year‑old resident of Difaar village. Their unexpected romance began on the online gaming platform Roblox, where casual chats soon blossomed into a deep emotional bond.
Over five months of conversations, Akmal proposed early, and though Selma initially hesitated, she eventually decided to visit Pakistan to formalize their relationship. Despite language barriers — Akmal often replied with just “okay” — their connection grew stronger, convincing Selma of his sincerity.
Upon arriving, Selma embraced a lifestyle vastly different from her own, learning to adapt to village routines such as hand‑washing clothes, cooking rotis, and managing daily chores. She expressed happiness in adjusting to these changes, finding joy in her new life with Akmal.
The wedding, supported by both families, cost around PKR 4.5 million (₹14 lakh), including Selma’s travel and ceremony expenses. Selma has now decided to make Pakistan her permanent home and is learning Punjabi and Urdu to better connect with her husband’s family and community.
