🌟 Marriyum Aurangzeb: Pakistani Minister Goes Viral After Striking Transformation at Junaid Safdar’s Wedding

When former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s grandson Junaid Safdar tied the knot with Shanzay Ali Rohail in a lavish ceremony in Lahore, the event naturally drew public attention. Yet, one guest became the unexpected focus of viral discussions — senior politician Marriyum Aurangzeb, whose noticeable transformation sparked curiosity and debate.

Punjab’s minister for information and environment, Marriyum Aurangzeb, quickly became the centre of online chatter after her appearance at the wedding festivities. Photographs from the event revealed sharper facial features, a slimmer frame, and an overall radiant glow, leading to widespread comparisons with her earlier public appearances. The change prompted speculation on social media about whether she had undergone cosmetic procedures to achieve the look.

Who is Marriyum Aurangzeb?
At 45, Marriyum Aurangzeb is a well-known figure in Pakistani politics and has been associated with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) since 2013. She currently serves as Senior Minister in the Punjab government, managing portfolios such as environment protection, planning, forestry, fisheries, wildlife, and special initiatives. Reports also note that she has been entrusted with tourism, archaeology, and museums.

Her political career began with her election to Pakistan’s National Assembly on a reserved seat for women in 2013, a position she retained in 2018. She has also held the role of Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, serving from 2016 to 2018 and later again between April 2022 and August 2023 under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

Early life and education
Born in Lahore in 1980 into a politically active family, Aurangzeb pursued her early education in Islamabad. She completed her FSc. in Premedical in 1996 and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1998 from Federal Government College. She later obtained a Master’s degree in Economics from Quaid-i-Azam University, followed by an MSc in Environment and Development from King’s College London in 2003.

Before entering politics, she spent nearly a decade working with WWF-Pakistan, where she focused on environmental advocacy, sustainable development, and international campaigns, laying the foundation for her later political career.
