In a recent podcast with Ranveer Allahbadia, Munmun Dutta, who plays Babita Ji, opened up about her journey on the show. She revealed that Dilip Joshi (Jethalal) had a key role in her casting. “Dilip sir and the producer had worked together earlier, so they trusted his suggestions. He recommended a few actors, including Disha (Daya bhabhi), and I know my name was also put forward,” she shared.

Associated with TMKOC for over 16 years, Munmun credits Dilip Joshi for shaping the on‑screen chemistry between Jethalal and Babita Ji. “He often praises me because he has seen my growth from the beginning. Even today, he tells me how professional I’ve become,” she added.
