Bollywood singer Neha Kakkar has addressed swirling rumours about her marriage to fellow artist Rohanpreet Singh after a series of cryptic social media posts sparked speculation.
The chatter began when Neha briefly shared an Instagram story announcing she was stepping away from “responsibilities, relationships, and work,” before deleting it minutes later. The post quickly triggered gossip about her personal life.
In a heartfelt clarification, Neha urged fans not to drag her husband or family into online discussions. She wrote, “Please don’t involve my innocent husband or my sweetest family in all this. They are the purest people I know and whatever I am today is because of their support. It’s a few other people and the system that I’m upset with. Lesson learnt.”
She further added that she would no longer discuss her personal life publicly, calling herself “too emotional for this world.” Neha reassured her fans, affectionately known as NeHearts, that she would return soon “with a bang.”
Neha and Rohanpreet, who tied the knot in October 2020, have often shared their bond both personally and professionally. Her latest clarification was a direct attempt to silence divorce rumours and reaffirm her closeness with her husband.
Earlier, Neha also requested paparazzi and fans not to film her, asking for privacy and peace. Those posts, too, were later deleted.
