If I Had Legs I'd Kick You star Rose Byrne took home Best Female Actor (Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy) at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards, giving a speech that ranged from thanking writer-director Mary Bronstein to bearded dragons.
"We shot this maybe in 25 days for like, $8.50," Byrne said. "This is a tiny film, so this is a huge thing to be up here. And my brother's my date — thanks, George. Thanks, my mum and dad who bought Paramount+ so they could watch the Golden Globes from Sydney."
Lastly, Byrne thanked her husband, Bobby Cannavale, who wasn't in attendance. "He couldn't be here because he's getting a bearded dragon, and he went to a reptile expo in New Jersey. So thank you, baby."
