Taylor Swift Reportedly Feels 'Violated' After Her Private Texts Were Exposed Over Blake Lively Legal Drama
Taylor Swift was dragged into Blake Lively's ongoing legal battle with Justin Baldoni when her private texts with the actress were unsealed.

Taylor Swift was dragged into Blake Lively's ongoing legal battle with Justin Baldoni when her private texts with the actress were unsealed, revealing remarks she made about the director.
Now, reports suggest the "Fate Of Ophelia" singer feels "exposed" and "kind of violated" as she never wanted to be involved in the case.
Blake Lively's lawyer claims the actress had "done everything she could to protect her friends" from getting involved in the case, but it was Justin Baldoni's team that brought that evidence.
Why Taylor Swift Feels 'Exposed' After Her Texts With Blake Lively Were Unsealed

Swift is reportedly frustrated following the unsealing of private text messages between her and longtime pal Blake Lively as part of the ongoing legal battle involving director Justin Baldoni.
"It's honestly been really hard for Taylor," a source told Us Weekly. "Having her texts out there made her feel exposed and kind of violated, like, something private suddenly wasn't hers anymore. That doesn't sit well with her."
The insider went further to share that Swift "wasn't trying to get involved," as she only tried to help her friend.
"She wasn't trying to get involved or make anything bigger; she was just supporting Blake as a friend, in what she thought was a private moment," the source noted. "Now, it's turned into this whole thing that she didn't ask for."
Taylor Swift And Blake Lively's Text Messages About The Director

Lively filed a lawsuit in late 2024 alleging Baldoni sexually harassed her while they worked together on the set of "It Ends With Us," and also accused him of engaging in a retaliatory smear campaign against her.
He has since filed a countersuit against Lively that was thrown out by a judge, in which he claimed that Lively tried to use her friendship with Swift to wrestle creative control of the film.
When Swift's texts with the "Gossip Girl" actress became public, things became more complicated as she appeared to have used her influence in her friend's favor while using a derogatory term to describe the actor.
"Can you do me a huge favor. I need help with him," Lively asked Swift in one text. "Can you tell him you are excited for the movie. That you read the book, but what you're freaking out over is the [script] pages I sent you. What a magnetic scene that is. Or whatever descriptives you're comfortable [with]."
The "Bad Blood" hit maker then replied that she'd "do anything" for Lively. In another text, the pair appeared to be in high spirits after Swift seemingly pressured Baldoni in Lively's New York apartment.
"You were so epically heroic today," Lively wrote. "I recapped every moment to Ryan. I kept remembering stuff — You making sh-t up about me and lenses. And referring to yourself as my doll. This clown falling for all of it. But also resisting it. You are the world's absolutely greatest friend. I won the lottery."
The Pop Star Called Justin Baldoni A 'B-tch'

In another court document, Swift sent Lively a screenshot of a People Magazine article titled "Justin Baldoni Reveals He Was Sexually Traumatized By an Ex-Girlfriend When He Was 'Hoping to Save Myself for Marriage.'"
Alongside the photo, she told Lively that she thinks "this b-tch knows something is coming because he's gotten out his tiny violin."
A second source who spoke to Us Weekly told the news outlet that Swift is "obviously not happy" with her messages being made public.
"Even though she was sending Blake messages and went to the apartment, she wasn't involved in creating a master plan to take anyone down," the second source added. "She was being supportive of her friend, and that is it. Just as any friend would."
How Blake Lively Feels About The Exposed Text Messages

Lively's lawyer, Sigrid McCawley, has revealed how the "A Simple Favor" actress feels about her friend being "drawn into" her legal battle with Baldoni.
When asked if the actress was "upset," McCawley said she has "done everything she can to protect her friends from not being brought into this."
"It was the Baldoni parties who brought that evidence into this case. It's not relevant. What's relevant is her claims that she was sexually harassed in the workplace and the witnesses are there to see that," the legal expert said in a video obtained by TMZ.
Blake Lively And Taylor Swift's Friendship Was Affected By The Legal Battle

The text exchange between Swift and Lively seems to confirm they had suffered strained ties amid blowback from the legal battle, especially after Baldoni claimed Lively referred to the Grammy winner as one of her "dragons" while comparing herself to Khaleesi of "Game of Thrones."
In the text, Lively noted that she always wanted the "opportunity to be a better friend if there's something I unintentionally did."
However, Swift said she was "not wrong, but it's also not a big deal," adding that she was just "exhausted in every avenue of my life."
As reported by The Blast, the singer also stated at some point that she missed her "funny, dark, normal-speaking friend who talks to me as herself."
