Let’s go back to 2018. It’s Colton’s season of The Bachelor, where he meets Cassie Randolph. She won, and they dated following the show. However, they broke up in May 2020 — a year before he blindsided her and came out as gay. But before dropping the news of his sexuality, the end of their relationship got very, very messy. As we previously reported, Cassie had to file a restraining order against the former football player due to alleged stalking and harassment. She accused Colton of some pretty disturbing stuff, like threatening her and creating an anonymous stalker, who turned out to be him. He even allegedly put a tracking device on the bottom of her car’s back bumper to know details of her whereabouts after they split!

It’s shocking and horrifying behavior. When he came out and released a Netflix series, people reminded everyone that his actions toward Cassie shouldn’t be forgotten. And now they’re doing it again, this time after the premiere of The Traitors last week! The biggest critic of them all? Colton’s former Bachelor contestant and Cassie’s friend, Demi Burnett!
The former television personality took to TikTok on Monday to slam the popular show for casting Colton. Demi said that “Colton Underwood should not be on The Traitors” and “it’s absolutely sick” that he is “getting the Pilot Pete, Dylan Efron edit” — AKA the good guy edit. Especially after what he allegedly did to Cassie!
While breaking down the “f**king sick” alleged situation, Demi said it “blows my mind” that Colton is allowed to star on any reality television shows and wishes people would “hold him accountable” — and not give him such a platform. The content creator added:
“So everyone who’s saying, ‘He made a mistake,’ like, what? That is not a mistake. He thought about this, and he still decided to go through with it multiple times. He like thought about all of this. He premeditated all of this. This is all really, really, scary types of thinking patterns, people.”
And yet he still somehow ends up on our screens… WTF.
Demi then accused Colton of coming out as gay when he did to distract everyone from his problematic behavior, saying:
“And so for this to happen, all this comes out, right? And what does he do? He says, ‘I’m gay,’ and everybody, they are so shocked by that, that they forget about all of that psychotic behavior that I just listed. And the craziest part is that was all part of his plan. He did this on purpose. He came out right at this time on purpose. So people would not pay attention to what we had all just discovered, which is that he is a stalker. He is dangerous to women.”
And what really upsets Demi about all of this? How Colton keeps getting all these “awesome opportunities,” like The Traitors, instead of Cassie. She now gets to watch her alleged “abuser” get a redemption arc — one that, it sounds like, Demi doesn’t believe he deserves:
“So what happens to him? Oh, he just gets show after show after show. … And now he’s on the f**king Traitors. Not only like my dream show, like forget about me. It’s like the show everybody wants to get on right now. It is the show to be on. And I haven’t seen my friend Cassie on any shows at all since then. Why have I seen her abuser on like 5 and I haven’t seen her on any? That makes no sense to me. That makes me sick. It keeps me up at night.”
Demi concluded the post, begging everyone not to fall for the nice guy act from Colton:
“Don’t let the Dylan Efron edit fool you, people, okay? This man is sick. Sick! And he should not be getting all of these awesome opportunities. Absolutely not. You do not reward behavior like that.”

Demi isn’t the only one calling out The Traitors for casting Colton! Other viewers are too! They’ve taken to X (Twitter) to call out his alleged gross actions, saying:
