Comparing The Original Account Of Brooklyn Beckham & Nicola Peltz's Wedding To Claims About Victoria Hijacking First Dance!

Some people aren’t buying Brooklyn Beckham‘s account of HIS OWN wedding day!

When the 26-year-old hot sauce entrepreneur went off on his estranged parents, David and Victoria Beckham, in a series of Instagram Stories on Monday, he accused Posh Spice of sabotaging certain parts of his nuptials with Nicola Peltz — including their first dance.

Brooklyn alleged:

“My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song. In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife, but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me. She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.”

The former aspiring photographer/chef/model didn’t go into more detail. However, a wedding guest claimed to Page Six that she “got up on stage and wrapped her arms around Brooklyn” and “nuzzled into his neck.” Oof. No wonder Nicola ran out of the room crying!

Other guests confirmed Vic danced “inappropriately” with Brooklyn. Insiders also insisted “every word of Brooklyn’s statement was true,” even though what he had to say “sounds crazy and unhinged.” But is it? Because British Vogue‘s official account of the big day paints a different picture from his claims!

According to British Vogue, during the reception, up-and-coming South African singer Lloyiso performed a cover of Elvis Presley‘s Can’t Help Falling in Love for Brooklyn and Nicola’s first dance. So, it wasn’t Marc booked for the first dance as the eldest Beckham boy suggested?! It was actually this guy!

Then Lloyiso sang Wing Beneath My Wings by Bette Midler for the father-daughter dance between Nicola and her dad, Nelson Peltz. British Vogue said at 11:00 p.m., Marc appeared on a revolving stage to perform a live set, opening with I Need To Know. Brooklyn “invited” Victoria “on stage for a dance and they were joined by David and their 10-year-old daughter, Harper.”

British Vogue‘s version of events states the first dance happened hours before Brooklyn danced with his mom — and he invited her onstage. That claim doesn’t fit with what he wrote in his statement! It doesn’t sound like any hijacking happened at all!

But to give him the benefit of the doubt, perhaps Brooklyn and Nicola did plan on dancing to Marc’s song, just the two of them and no one else. We can easily see how British Vogue reports may have assumed the best, reporting he invited her on stage, when perhaps that’s not quite how it happened. As we all know by now, Marc called up Victoria instead of the Bates Motel actress, and that’s how the alleged hijacking went down. Hmm.

One thing is for sure — this account of the wedding certainly pokes holes in Brooklyn’s claims! But again, they were just there witnessing things from their POV. Brooklyn knew what the schedule was supposed to be because it was HIS wedding!
